David Macrae (UC Davis) founded the winery to develop limited production wines that reflect the best winemaking skills from the top quality growers in the region.

Macrae Winery Inc is pleased to announce the donation of $17,000 in wine to support the San Francisco SPCA for their annual fund raising event 'Bark and Wine' featuring the Macrae Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The event supports funding for the SF SPCA where participants enjoy Black Tie and bringing their pet to enjoy a special event for their benefit.

Macrae Family Winery was founded to not only produce the best possible ultra premium wines from the Best Growers in Napa and Sonoma California including Stagecoach Vineyards in Napa and Bacigaluipi Vineyards in Russian River but to allocate wines to support special events such as fund raisers for public entities.
